Safari of Love
Leave the hotel in a 4-wheel drive vehicle, accompanied by a guide who will help you discover Raiatea’s historic past. You will first visit the sacred Marae, Taputapuatea. The tranquillity of this mythical and sacred site will transport you back to another era and to another civilization.
Lunch will be served and then off to the green peaks and tropical forests of Raiatea in search of the Tiare Apetahi, the tiare flower that is unique to the island. Once at the summit you can marvel at the panorama of the green vistas, and turquoise waters. As the sun slowly sets you will return to your “dream fare” with all the images and memories of this perfect day.

In the Garden of Eden
Leave the hotel by boat, accompanied by a guide, for a visit to the little islet opposite the hotel and a swim in the surrounding crystal blue waters.
Then on to the bay of Faaroa, a snug harbor between two tall peaks and the visit of the sacred river that for many years was the only source of fresh water for the ancient Polynesian navigators.
You will navigate up the river for 25 minutes, surrounded by the luxuriant tropical foliage of wild ferns and all the fragrances that are so particular to this flora such as exotic orchid, tiare, and hibiscus… until you reach your own Garden of Eden. Accessible only by boat, this secret garden is a festival of exotic flora, hibiscus, “monette”, “opuhi”, frangipanier, tiare and tropical fruit trees, to name only a few, all nurtured by the cool sweet water of the sacred river.
Shaded and secluded in this lush paradise, a succulent luncheon with Champagne will be served in the “fare pote”. During your romantic escape on Raiatea you will feel like Adam and Eve in your own private Eden.

Love at Sea
Your own private yacht and crew await you at 7.00am at the hotel dock. Heading south, breakfast will be served, with the only sound being the gentle cresting of the waves against the bow, and the muted whistle of the breeze in the sails. The bow of your alabaster sailboat glides through the deep blue and on to aquamarine, where the clarity of the waters allow you to admire the vivid colours of the underwater flora and fauna, and then while gazing at the horizon an island appears as if in a dream, with fine white sand, fringed with swaying coconut palms and the turquoise waters lapping at its shores.
Here you may swim and sun bathe and feel that you are the only two people on earth, as your crew prepare a medley of subtle “love bites” for lunch and champagne refreshment. This is Raiatea romance at its best!
As the sun slowly dips toward the horizon you will begin your voyage back to land, and see the antics of the playful dolphins on the open sea; a lasting image making this day perfect in paradise.
